Here are some interesting news stories about LGBT efforts in ASEAN nations generally:

Read about Gaysia, a new book by Bernard Law, a young gay Australian.

Being LGBT in Asia launched on social media to help unite Asian community. Accounts on Facebook, Twitter,  Instagram and on the Chinese social networks QQ, Weibo and Douban are set up to help LGBT’s communicate. Being LGBT in Asia also has a page on Crowdmap where anyone can report violence or verbal harassment, for example, in locations across Asia, the first such use of social media to report LGBT human rights abuses as well as LGBT equality successes in Asia.
